Agricultural Students' Society
University of Lethbridge
Meet our Team!
I grew up on a mixed farm with grain, cattle, and hogs just outside of Vermilion Alberta. I am currently in my 5th and final year of a Post Diploma Bachelor of Arts- Agricultural Studies focusing in Economics and Concentrating in Agricultural Business. Before coming to Lethbridge I completed a Diploma at Olds College in Agricultural Management, Marketing. Joining the Ag Club helped in the shift from College to University as I met like minded individuals and found people in my classes to work with. I joined the executive to give back to this outstanding club that fosters industry connections and gives back to the community. I am passionate about agriculture education, marketing, and communications.

I grew up on a grain and cattle farm just West of Acme, Alberta. I am in my 3rd year of school here in Lethbridge where I am taking Agriculture Enterprise Management. I joined the Agricultural Students' Society because I really wanted to meet like minded individuals that are passionate about learning more about agriculture. I joined the executive because I wanted to help push our club into a new direction and motivate our members to participate in events and help create industry connections. I am passionate about agriculture policy, trade, and creating agriculture opportunities for our youth and increasing agriculture awareness amongst our urban neighbours.

I grew up on an acreage west of Sundre Alberta where I spent a lot of my time participating in 4-H. I am in my 3rd year at the University of Lethbridge, taking a Bachelor of Arts/Education majoring in Kinesiology. I joined the Agricultural Students' Society because I wanted to learn more about the industry. I have grown a passion for the industry and would love to take this into the classroom once I become a teacher! The tight knit community of the club has allowed me to come out of my shell, and I would like to give back to the club by taking on larger positions such as my current position as VP Finance.

I grew up on an acreage just outside of Brooks with a family farm close by where I was able to learn and ask questions. I’m currently in my 2nd year of a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biology. I joined the Agricultural Students' Society because I wanted to meet more people with similar interests. The more that I learn about agriculture, the more I want to learn. I became involved in the executive team because I am passionate about the club and I wanted to expand my skills in leadership and become more involved with the club!
I grew up on an acreage outside of Thorhild, Alberta (hour north of Edmonton). I am going into my 3rd year taking a combined degree, Bachelor of Arts/Education major in Kinesiology! I joined the Agricultural Students' Society because of the familiar faces that I had met through 4-H. I was a 4-H member for 9 years so the Ag Club felt like a similar experience! I decided that I wanted to become more dedicated to the Ag Club and it’s growth, having been a member for 2 years, so becoming a part of the executive was perfect! Like 4-H, the Ag Club is welcoming and strives to create a welcoming community. I am looking forward to finding ways to support our members and their future goals, as well as continuing to create a welcoming and supportive community for new students!
