One value that we hold as a club is giving back to the community. We host fundraising events throughout the year and participate in volunteer opportunities. In March we hold our annual Grow the Future Gala where we present a cheque to a non-profit voted on by the club. Here are links to our past donations.
2020 Grow the Future Gala
Although the Aggies had to cancel their 2020 Grow the Future Gala, they were still able to donate $10,000 to Ag for Life through the incredible generosity of sponsors, and time from members through volunteering and fundraising events throughout the year.
2019 Grow the Future Gala
Dr. Egan Brockhoff, a doctor of veterinary medicine and partner at Prairie Swine Health Services in Red Deer, educated attendees on the status of swine operation both in Canada and Globally. Proceeds from this events were donated to the Do More Ag Foundation, and the U of L Curling Team.
